As this is the last issue for 2008, perhaps it is time to look back on some of the major events that occurred in this year. We had a very turbulent time – even worldwide – and the general conclusion is that we have entered a re - adjusting exercise which will bring us all back to some basics. Basics in economic terms, but also in the sense of human terms: yourself as a human being, and not forgetting the most precious gift of all: our life Many of us – and I agree I am one of them – tend to rush through our lives, working all hours in pursuit of luxury items, power and status and thereby tend to neglect the real components for quality of life: peace within yourself and (time for) love to others. Holidays allow for this; this is why people like them. If you succeed to find moments of peace regardless of wherever you are, your life can become a sequence of holidays, and the quality of your life will increase dramatically. Allow yourself to try it out. In this issue we give you some tools to make your first steps… Spirit would like to thank its supporters, advertisers and readers together with your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful 2009.
